1. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Neuman Chrome extension and this website. Neuman uses information to carry out your requests, maintain its features, and troubleshoot issues. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to jaison@neuman.so.
2. Information the extension uses
For your browser tasks, Neuman can inspect relevant page text, HTML, form fields and values, screenshots, tab information, and content in accessible frames. It can enter information and interact with pages through its browser tools. It also uses your instructions, relevant chat history, selected saved memory, and files you provide. These inputs can contain personal, financial, or health information depending on the task.
Neuman uses Chrome’s debugger, tab, tab-group, scripting, storage, active-tab, side-panel, and offscreen capabilities to deliver these features. Local-file access, when enabled in Chrome, supports tasks involving user-opened files such as PDFs.
3. AI processing and sharing
Before AI processing starts, the extension asks you to accept a disclosure for the configured provider. Relevant instructions, conversation, memory, page content, form values, screenshots, and attachment content may be transmitted to that service to generate responses and supported browser actions.
- OpenRouter: requests go to OpenRouter and the model provider selected through it.
- Hathr AI: requests go to Hathr AI.
- Gemini Enterprise: requests go through Neuman’s Gemini backend to Google Cloud.
Saved API keys and connection credentials are used to authenticate requests with the configured service or its authentication endpoint. The provider’s terms and your service agreement govern its processing, retention, and data use. Selecting a model or provider does not itself establish a particular retention, training, or compliance arrangement. Only share information you are authorized to send to the configured services.
4. Optional feedback
When you submit OpenRouter feedback, the extension sends your rating, any comment you enter, the website domain, installation/session/turn identifiers, extension version, model, tool names and statuses, platform information, and limited diagnostics to Neuman’s feedback endpoint.
Instruction and assistant-response excerpts are excluded by default. They are sent only when you check the separate sharing option. Excerpts and comments can contain sensitive information; review what you choose to share. The extension attempts to redact some secrets and contact details, but this does not remove every type of personal information. Neuman may review the feedback you explicitly submit to troubleshoot and improve the extension.
External feedback is disabled for other providers. Failed deliveries can be queued locally and retried. Older queued instruction and response excerpts without recorded consent are removed before transmission.
Demo requests on this website
When you request a demo, this website sends your work email, selected workflow, and any insurer details you enter to Neuman’s server. The server uses Resend to email the request to our team so we can arrange your demo. Your work email is included as the reply address. Please use this form for business contact details rather than provider or patient records.
We do not store demo requests in a website database. Submitted details are processed by the email service and received in Neuman’s email inbox. To ask about a request or request deletion, contact jaison@neuman.so.
5. Storage, retention, and deletion
Chats, attachments and extracted file content, saved memory, settings, credentials, workflow state, consent records, and queued feedback are stored locally in the browser. Local records remain until you delete them through the available controls or remove the extension’s stored data. Clearing chat history does not necessarily clear separate files, memory, settings, or feedback queues.
AI services and the Gemini backend process information externally. Deleting local records does not delete data already sent to an external service. Remote retention depends on the service and applicable agreement. For information about Neuman’s server-side feedback or backend retention, or to request deletion of feedback you submitted, contact jaison@neuman.so. Include enough non-sensitive information to identify the submission.
6. Your choices
You can decline the AI disclosure, choose a different provider, reset AI consent in Settings → AI Provider, skip feedback, leave excerpt sharing unchecked, and delete local records through the extension’s available controls. Resetting consent makes the next AI run ask again; it does not stop an already active run. Stop an active chat or workflow using its controls.
Existing chats and workflow runs retain their provider configuration. Changing the default provider applies to new chats and runs. You can also manage site and local-file access through Chrome’s extension settings.
7. Limited use
Neuman’s use of information received from Chrome and Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Neuman limits use and sharing of extension data to providing and improving its disclosed browser-assistance features, related security and reliability needs, and permitted legal purposes. Neuman does not sell extension user data, use it for personalized advertising, or transfer it to data brokers. Human access is limited to feedback or specific data you explicitly authorize for support, necessary security investigations, and legal requirements.
8. This website
The workflow demonstrations on this website use illustrative data and do not submit real applications. We do not run analytics or advertising scripts of our own. The embedded demo loads YouTube’s player when the video approaches the screen or you request playback. YouTube receives the player requests and handles playback through its privacy-enhanced embed domain. Your browser also sends ordinary request information to the website’s hosting service, which may maintain operational or security logs under its own terms.
9. Changes and contact
We will update this page when Neuman’s data practices change. Material changes to the extension’s AI disclosure require renewed consent. For questions or privacy requests, email jaison@neuman.so.
